Wiley|Wilson Executives Assume New Company Roles

Wiley|Wilson’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Neil McSweeney, PE, has been elected Chief Operating Officer and Chris Garner, PE, has been named Richmond, VA, Office Manager.

“Both Neil and Chris go above and beyond every day to unselfishly serve both our clients and our employee-owners,” said Tim Groover, Wiley|Wilson President. “We are very excited to welcome them into these well-deserved and critical leadership roles.”

Neil joined Wiley|Wilson in 1989. He blazed the trail for the firm’s entry into design-build services, helping to more than double the firm’s revenue in the process. Neil’s contributions include client relationship management, leadership in the mechanical engineering discipline, and development of Wiley|Wilson’s innovative approach to QA/QC. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from VMI and Masters in Engineering Management from ODU. Neil is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia, Washington DC, and Georgia.

Chris’s inspiring “can do” attitude sets the tone for the delivery of exceptional services to many of the firm’s top clients. He will continue to serve as Project and Program Manager while he leads, nurtures, and grows Wiley|Wilson’s resources in Richmond. Chris received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Randolph-Macon College and his BS in Civil Engineering from ODU. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia, North Carolina, and Washington DC.

Please join us in congratulating Neil and Chris as they take on these new responsibilities.
