Connie Burnette Named National ESOP Chapter Officer of the Year
Congratulations to Connie Burnette, Wiley|Wilson Vice President and Department Manager, Human Resources, who was named National Chapter Officer of the Year by the National ESOP Association. Connie has been an active and integral member of the ESOP Association’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter (MAC) for more than 19 years. She was Chapter President for the past three years and has been an anchor of support for the MAC as new leadership prepares to take the reins. She is currently serving as MAC Past President and Programs Officer.

Connie is a recognized ESOP expert, in both the Mid-Atlantic region and the larger employee-ownership community. She has served on the Executive Committee of the State and Regional Chapter Councils of the ESOP Association and as a judge for the ESOP Association’s prestigious AACE awards. Under her leadership, a member of the MAC was named national Employee of the Year in 2021. Connie herself was MAC Employee-owner of the Year in 2012. In 2022, she was recognized by the MAC for her outstanding efforts assisting the chapter, including her guidance during the pandemic, ensuring the chapter provided helpful guidance and ongoing support to its members.
