Loudoun County Service Center
To better serve their customers, NOVEC retained Wiley|Wilson’s services to design a new service facility on a 67-acre parcel of land in Loudoun County. The new Loudoun Service Center facility was designed to improve the responsiveness and efficiency of service for NOVEC’s customers. The new service center includes a multi-use facility, vehicle maintenance building, joint vehicle and truck shelter and separate truck shelter:
Wiley|Wilson provided full service architecture and engineering design services for the Loudoun Service Center Facility. Unique design features included:
- A variable refrigerant volume (VRV) based HVAC system in the multi-use facility
- Dimmable LED lighting throughout the multi-use facility
- 100% Generator backup for the entire facility
- Redundant UPS systems in the multi-use facility
- Structural and electrical provisions to accommodate future photovoltaic panels on each structure
