Ordnance School Central Campus 2
With our design-build partner W.M. Jordan Company, Wiley|Wilson performed full architectural and engineering design services for the construction of four Ordnance Training facilities and associated site work. The $70 million complex consists of four administrative/instructional buildings. Each building contained a multi-story area housing classrooms, labs and administrative offices; a single story high bay area for equipment and vehicle repair training and education; and a rear educational support area. Site work included new utilities, landscaping, stormwater management, parking for 200 vehicles and tactical vehicle parking.
Very similar to the four buildings constructed for the Ordnance School, the USMC Collocated Training Facility is a 76,926 SF training center for the Marine Corps detachment located at Fort Lee. The building consists of the following spaces: administrative, general instruction, compact item repair instruction, general item repair instruction, vehicle maintenance instruction, audio-aided instruction, oil and petroleum storage and organizational storage.
