Embassy Physical Security Upgrades
Wiley|Wilson provided professional architectural and engineering design services for physical security upgrades to O.E.S, Inc. for this design-build project. The project consisted of Phase III physical security upgrades (PSU) of various buildings and grounds items located in the Maputo, Mozambique, US Embassy. The work included providing design and installation of new anti-climb fences and mantraps, vehicle drop-down barriers, a guard booth, replacement doors, and a safe area. The project also included forced entry ballistic resistant (FEBR) replacements and ADA upgrades to the existing buildings.
Wiley|Wilson personnel performed a week-long facility site survey to document existing conditions and gather required information. Design submittals to OBO include a 35% Design Concept submittal, a 60% design review submittal, and a 100% design documents.
